The conference, held on September 29-30, 2025, was attended by numerous prominent researchers from around the world. The event featured presentations on current research findings related to cryptocurrencies, as well as discussions on the future of digital currencies, the role of central banks and monetary authorities, and regulatory frameworks.
Two of our faculty members from the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences attended the conference. Asst. Prof. Dr. Tuğba Baş, from the Department of Business Administration, presented her co-authored study titled “Stochastic Efficiency in the Cryptocurrency Market: The Role of Trends and Breaks”. Asst. Prof. Dr. Hazar Altınbaş, from the Department of Economics and Finance, presented his study titled “Uncertainty in trade policies and its impact on cryptocurrency returns”.
