About the Program

What is the Cooperative Education Program?

The Cooperative Education Program is an educational model that allows undergraduate students at our university to get to know the business world on-site and enhance their skills through the knowledge, observations, and experiences they gain by working full-time for 6 to 7 months without interruption in institutions that have signed a Cooperative Education Protocol.

The program can be planned to cover either the 3rd-year spring semester and the following summer semester, or the 3rd-year summer semester and the 4th-year fall semester.

Program Objectives

- To provide students with an education model that integrates theoretical knowledge and practical experience
- To train graduates who can meet the expectations and needs of the business world
- To establish sustainable collaborations with organizations, ensuring early and long-term access to a qualified workforce and enhancing their efficiency in talent acquisition

Advantages of the Program for Institutions

Skilled Workforce Support: Institutions benefit from a productive and long-term workforce by engaging students in the Cooperative Education Program.

Talent Acquisition Pool: Institutions have the opportunity to observe, evaluate, and develop the students they work with during the Cooperative Education Program over a period of 6 to 7 months. This allows for earlier and more informed employment decisions.

Contribution to Corporate Social Responsibility: By offering practical training and professional development opportunities, institutions contribute to social good and support the growth of young talent.

Program Process

Cooperation: A Cooperative Education Protocol is signed between the institution and our university.

Student Matching: The CVs of students who meet the success requirements from the relevant departments are shared with the institution. The institution then selects the student it deems most suitable from the candidate pool.

Practice: The student works full-time within the institution, following all of its working rules, during the Cooperative Education Program. The institution provides opportunities for the student to work in areas aligned with the program's objectives. The university ensures holistic coordination and follow-up throughout the process.

Evaluation: The Workplace Cooperative Education Coordinator, appointed by the institution, monitors the student's progress throughout the program and provides an evaluation at the end.
