Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Holds Academic Board Meeting

The Academic Board Meeting of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences for the Fall Semester of the 2024–2025 Academic Year was held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM in the Conference Hall on the 5th Floor of Block B. The meeting was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Kanca, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Şükriye Güniz Küçükgüzel, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Selamoğlu, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yıldırım Üçtuğ, as well as academic and administrative staff of the faculty.

Opening the meeting, Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Şahamet Bülbül delivered a comprehensive presentation covering the faculty's history, governance, academic boards, departments, faculty and student numbers, research activities, and future objectives. Following the dean’s presentation, the heads of the departments, Prof. Dr. Hazar Altınbaş (Department of Economics and Finance), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihan Akıncılar Köseoğlu (Department of Political Science and International Relations), Prof. Dr. Sevinç Serpil Aytaç (Department of Psychology), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal Şen (Department of Management and Information Systems), Prof. Dr. Evrim Doğan Adanur (Department of English Language and Literature), and Asst. Prof. Tuğba Baş (Department of Business Administration), provided updates on their departments' activities and shared their future goals. The meeting concluded with participants expressing their expectations, thoughts, contributions, and suggestions.
