On June 17, 2025, the Fenerbahçe University Library and Documentation Department organized an event titled "Increase the Impact of Your Scientific Outputs: Open Science, Data Management, Artificial Intelligence, and GCRIS."

Mr. Gültekin Gürdal, Head of the Library and Documentation Department at İzmir Institute of Technology, spoke about the importance of open science, open access, and open citations in scientific evaluation and academic visibility.
