Faculty of Pharmacy Holds Academic Council Meeting for the Spring Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year

Fenerbahçe University Faculty of Pharmacy held its Academic Council meeting for the Spring Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year on August 22, 2025, at 14:00 in Room 504, Block F. The meeting focused on evaluating the activities carried out during the semester and setting goals for the upcoming term.

With the participation of academic and administrative staff, the faculty management conducted important evaluations on academic development, education and training processes, and institutional quality studies. Prof. Dr. İlkay KÜÇÜKGÜZEL, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, opened the meeting and provided detailed information on the faculty’s history, organizational structure, academic and administrative staff, academic performance, research activities, and future goals. Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Derya DİLEK KANÇAĞI presented information on theoretical courses and laboratory applications conducted in the spring semester, course success rates, teaching staff course loads, as well as general and elective courses. Internship Committee Chair Prof. Dr. Azize ŞENER and Committee Member Asst. Prof. Dr. Tuğrul MEHTİYEV provided various updates regarding internship practices for students completing their internships in Turkish and English programs. Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Can AKPOLAT shared information with the committee members about scientific and academic activities, international collaborations, Erasmus+ mobility programs, and social contributions.

In the wishes and recommendations section of the meeting, the importance of gathering the views and suggestions of all stakeholders in order for the faculty to achieve its academic excellence goals was emphasized, and the meeting was concluded.
