Research and Publication Ethics

The Academic Research and Publication Ethics Committee, the Non-Interventional Clinical Research Ethics Committee, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Ethics Committee were established by the decision of the Senate Meeting of our University dated 28.09.2021, numbered 043. Ethics committee applications for the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture will be conducted through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Ethics Committee.

It is the responsibility of the researchers to obtain all necessary permissions for the use of tests, scales, figures, or tables developed by other researchers, as well as permissions from the individuals, institutions, or organizations from which data will be collected, for the conduct of scientific research.

Permission requests for national and international research practices and data collection activities to be carried out by universities, public institutions and organizations, non-governmental organizations, and researchers in schools and institutions of all types and levels affiliated with the Ministry of National Education are regulated by the Ministry’s circular dated January 21, 2020, and numbered 2020/2. All permission applications must first be submitted as preliminary applications via http://ayse.meb.gov.tr. The system directs individuals or institutions requesting permission to the appropriate unit from which they can obtain a research application permit.
