On November 19, 2025, our university’s Occupational Therapy Club visited the LÖSEV Office in Ataşehir to strengthen students’ social responsibility and raise awareness about public health.

During the visit, club members received detailed information about the health, education, and psychosocial support activities provided for children battling leukemia and their families. Foundation officials also presented LÖSEV’s support mechanisms, areas of activity, and volunteer opportunities.

Students had the chance to enhance their professional awareness of occupational therapy’s role in oncology and supporting patients’ participation in daily life activities. The visit was noted to contribute both to developing students’ professional perspectives and to fostering social awareness.

The Occupational Therapy Club emphasized that visits to institutions prioritizing public health are highly valuable for students’ professional and social development. The visit to the Ataşehir LÖSEV Office concluded productively, with students displaying eager involvement and making meaningful contributions.
