Our Academics Presented Papers at the 4th National Political Science Congress

Faculty members of the Department of Political Science and International Relations (English), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihan Akıncılar Köseoğlu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hazal Papuççular Kutlu, and Research Assistant Rümeysa Karagöz, took part in the 4th National Political Science Congress organized by the Turkish Association of Political Sciences and hosted by Izmir University of Economics on September 20-21.

At the congress, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihan Akıncılar Köseoğlu presented her study titled “Minorities and the Fight Against Discrimination in the Post-EU Candidacy Period in Turkey: Problems of Adaptation, Implementation, and Continuity.” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hazal Papuççular Kutlu shared her work “Between Nationalism and Internationalism: Turkish Foreign Minister Tevfik Rüştü Aras in the League of Nations.” Research Assistant Rümeysa Karagöz contributed with her paper “Europe's Role in the International System and the Evolution of its Understanding of Security.”
