Our Social Contribution Event “Active and Healthy Aging Seminars” Begins

Within the scope of the protocol signed between Ataşehir Municipality and our university, the first phase of the Active and Healthy Aging Seminars was held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Ataşehir Municipality 30 August Retired Cultural Center, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Arzu Özdinçler.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Nadide Gizem Tarakçı, faculty member of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Health Sciences, gave a presentation on “Healthy Nutrition in the Elderly”. Asst. Prof. Dr. Anıl Tosun, faculty member of the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, spoke on “Physical Activity in the Elderly”. Prof. Dr. Göksel Şener, faculty member of the Faculty of Pharmacy, addressed “Medication Use in the Elderly”.

Information was shared with the residents of Ataşehir, and the session concluded with a Q&A discussion.
