“Second Spring Academy” Social Benefit Activities Begin With the Kadıköy Municipality

Within the scope of the protocol between our University and Kadıköy Municipality, the “Second Spring Academy” social benefit activities have started under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elif Büyükselçuk.

The aim of the Second Spring Academy (İBA) is to improve the quality of life for individuals aged 65 and above, promote the conscious use of digital and technological tools, and support their active and safe participation in social life by strengthening their knowledge and skills in areas such as health, sports, nutrition, communication, and daily living.

Our faculty members have provided training to participants at Kadıköy Municipality on various topics, including Digital Literacy and Safe Technology Use, Healthy Nutrition for Older Adults, Burn and First Aid, Sports and Communication, and Prudent Medication Use for Older Adults.

The training programs are ongoing, and a graduation ceremony will be held during the 2025-2026 Academic Year.
