Media and communication play a critical role in shaping the economic, social, and cultural processes of contemporary society. In an era marked by the rapid expansion of digital technologies and globalization, the need for professionals with in-depth knowledge of media and communication, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to develop innovative approaches will continue to grow. In this context, the Master’s Program in Media and Communication Management aims to educate academically and professionally equipped leaders by effectively integrating communication theories, media analysis, and digital communication skills.

Application Requirements for Turkish Students

  • Applicants must have graduated from a four-year undergraduate program at a university in Türkiye or from a university abroad whose equivalence is recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
  • Applicants must have obtained a minimum score of 55 in the Verbal (SÖZ) score type of the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) within the last five years, or an equivalent score from an international examination recognized as equivalent by YÖK.
  • Turkish citizens who completed their undergraduate education abroad must apply to YÖK for an equivalence certificate for their higher education institution. The equivalence certificate must be submitted at the time of university registration.

Application Requirements for International Students

  • Applicants must have graduated from a four-year undergraduate program at a university in Türkiye or from a university abroad whose equivalence is recognized by YÖK.
  • Applicants must either have graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in Türkiye or abroad where the language of instruction is Turkish, or possess an official document demonstrating a minimum B2 level of Turkish proficiency or an equivalent score obtained from a Turkish proficiency examination administered by Fenerbahçe University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center, Yunus Emre Institute, or one of the Turkish language teaching centers of other universities in Türkiye.

Application Documents

All documents must be prepared in Turkish or English. Documents prepared in other languages must be accompanied by notarized translations into Turkish or English.

  • Bachelor's Degree diploma or E-Government Graduation Certificate
  • Barcode-verified ALES Examination Result Document showing a minimum score of 55 in the Verbal (SÖZ) score type, or the original equivalent examination result document
  • Transcript (original, wet-signed and barcode-verified document issued by the university) or E-Government Transcript Document
  • Copy of National ID Card
  • E-Government Military Status Certificate
  • 3 Photographs
  • YÖK Equivalence Certificate for graduates of universities abroad

Application Documents for International Students

  • Undergraduate Diploma or Graduation Certificate and its notarized Turkish translation
  • Original Transcript and its notarized Turkish translation
  • YÖK Equivalence Certificate / School Recognition Certificate
    (Foreign nationals applying to master's or doctoral programs, except for programs in the health fields, are not required to apply for an equivalence certificate. They may apply by obtaining a School Recognition Certificate from the Council of Higher Education. However, it is recommended that they also initiate the equivalence process in order to practice their profession. Applicants to graduate programs in Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, and Midwifery must submit a diploma equivalence certificate at the time of application.)
  • Turkish Language Certificate demonstrating at least B2 level proficiency
  • Copy of Passport
  • 3 Photographs
  • Residence Permit Card
    (For applicants who do not have a Residence Permit Card, health insurance and 4 photographs are required for the residence permit application.)
