M.Sc. IN ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT (THESIS) (ENGLISH)
The aim of the Thesis Master’s Program in Engineering Management is to educate professionals who can integrate engineering and management disciplines, combine technical knowledge with managerial skills and develop strong strategic thinking and problem-solving competencies. The program seeks to provide students with an analytical and systematic perspective in planning, executing, and supervising projects.
The Thesis Master’s Program in Engineering Management offers an interdisciplinary approach to areas such as project management, operations management, quality management, risk analysis, innovation, and technology management. The program contributes to students' ability to lead in industry, public and academic fields by considering not only the technical dimensions of engineering projects, but also the organizational, economic and environmental dimensions.

Application Requirements for Turkish Students
- Applicants must have graduated from a four-year undergraduate program at a university in Türkiye or from a university abroad whose equivalence is recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
- Applicants must have obtained a minimum score of 55 in the Numerical (SAY) or Equal Weight (EA) score type of the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) within the last five years, or an equivalent score from an international examination recognized as equivalent by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
- Applicants to programs requiring a foreign language and to programs taught in a foreign language must obtain a minimum score of 65 from one of the central foreign language examinations recognized by YÖK/ÖSYM, or an equivalent score from an international examination recognized as equivalent, or an equivalent score from the FBU-Pro English Proficiency Exam accepted by the Senate for graduate students who will pursue a master's degree.
- Turkish citizens who completed their education abroad must apply to YÖK for an equivalence certificate for the higher education institution they attended. The equivalence certificate must be submitted at the time of university registration.
- Applicants must meet the scores specified in the table below from central foreign language examinations recognized by YÖK/ÖSYM or international foreign language examinations whose equivalence has been recognized by the Senate. The accepted examinations and their score equivalencies are provided in the table below.

- All documents must be prepared in Turkish or English. Documents prepared in other languages must be accompanied by notarized translations into Turkish or English.
- Bachelor's Degree diploma or E-Government Graduation Certificate
- Barcode-verified ALES Examination Result Document showing a minimum score of 55 in the Numerical (SAY) score type, or the original equivalent examination result document
- Foreign Language Certificate showing a minimum score of 65 from an examination recognized by YÖK/ÖSYM or an equivalent examination
- Original Transcript (wet-signed and barcode-verified by the university) or E-Government Transcript Document
- Copy of National ID Card
- E-Government Military Status Certificate
- 3 Photographs
- YÖK Equivalence Certificate for graduates of universities abroad
Application Documents for International Students
- Original Transcript and its notarized Turkish translation

- YÖK Equivalence Certificate / School Recognition Certificate
(Foreign nationals applying to master's or doctoral programs, except for programs in the health fields, are not required to apply for an equivalence certificate. They may apply by obtaining a School Recognition Certificate from the Council of Higher Education. However, it is recommended that they also initiate the equivalence process in order to practice their profession. Applicants to graduate programs in Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, and Midwifery must submit a diploma equivalence certificate at the time of application.)
