The main purpose of the program is to train specialist nurses who are equipped with intellectual and leadership skills while providing nursing care, who can use knowledge, skills, and advanced technology with a quality service understanding, who are culturally sensitive, who have inquiring and investigative qualities in the professional and academic field by following scientific developments.
The objectives of the master's program in Internal Medicine Nursing are to provide students with the necessary theoretical background and academic research experience in solving the health problems of individuals and society in the field of Internal Medicine Nursing. The program includes clinical and academic studies on the nursing care of patients with diabetes, cancer, hypertension, Myasthenia Gravis and COPD, and neurological and haematological problems.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must be graduates of four-year nursing undergraduate programs offered by the Faculties of Nursing or Faculties of Health Sciences, or of nursing programs offered by Schools of Nursing and Schools of Health, at universities in Türkiye or at foreign universities recognized as equivalent by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Only those who have been awarded the title of Nurse are eligible to apply to the Department of Nursing, M.Sc. in Internal Medicine Nursing (Thesis) program. Applicants whose undergraduate education is outside the field of Nursing are not eligible for admission.
Applicants are required to obtain a minimum score of 55 in the quantitative score type of the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES), taken within the last five years, or hold an equivalent score from an international exam recognized as equivalent by YÖK.
Turkish citizens who have completed their undergraduate studies abroad are required to obtain a certificate of equivalence from YÖK for the recognition of the institution from which they graduated. This certificate must be submitted during the university registration process.

For graduate programs taught in Turkish, international applicants must either be graduates of a bachelor’s or graduate program taught in Turkish at a higher education institution in Türkiye or abroad, or present an official certificate demonstrating at least B2 level proficiency in Turkish, issued by the Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center of Fenerbahçe University, the Yunus Emre Institute, or another Turkish language teaching center of a university in Türkiye.

The ranking of applicants is determined based on the ALES score, undergraduate grade point average, and interview results, as specified in the admission requirements. For international students, however, the ranking is determined solely by the undergraduate grade point average and interview results. If admitted candidates do not complete their registration, the same procedure will be applied to candidates on the waiting list. The total program quota is 15.
