The aim of the master's program in Sport Sciences is to educate sport scientist candidates who will be able to access, compile, interpret and evaluate the information by using scientific research methods and conduct qualified studies in the light of ethical rules in the multidisciplinary field of sport sciences.
Sport Sciences master's program with thesis covers a wide range of study fields from the mechanics of human movement, the adaptation mechanisms of the organism to sports to activity and inactivity, interaction of physical activity with environmental and social factors. This multi-disciplinary Sport Sciences master's program provides students to specialize in the field of their choice by choosing one of the sub-modules of Sport Sciences, Movement, Training and Health, Psychosocial Fields in Sport and Education, Sport and Recreation Management. Students who successfully complete their master's education with thesis in Sport Sciences also have an option to apply to a doctorate program in sport sciences and other related disciplines.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a four-year undergraduate program offered by a university in Türkiye or by a foreign university recognized as equivalent by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
Applicants are required to obtain a minimum score of 55 in the equally weighted, verbal, or quantitative score type of the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES), taken within the last five years, or hold an equivalent score from an international exam recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
Turkish citizens who have completed their undergraduate studies abroad are required to obtain a certificate of equivalence from YÖK for the recognition of the institution from which they graduated. This certificate must be submitted during the university registration process.
Admission Requirements for International Students
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a four-year undergraduate program offered by universities in Türkiye or by foreign universities recognized through an equivalence or recognition certificate issued by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
For graduate programs taught in Turkish, international applicants must either be graduates of a bachelor’s or graduate program taught in Turkish at a higher education institution in Türkiye or abroad, or present an official certificate demonstrating at least B2 level proficiency in Turkish, issued by the Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center of Fenerbahçe University, the Yunus Emre Institute, or another Turkish language teaching center of a university in Türkiye.

The ranking of applicants is determined based on the ALES score, undergraduate grade point average, and interview results, as specified in the admission requirements. For international students, however, the ranking is determined solely by the undergraduate grade point average and interview results. If admitted candidates do not complete their registration, the same procedure will be applied to candidates on the waiting list. The total program quota is 15.
