Preparation meetings for the 2027-2031 Strategic Plan were held under the chairmanship of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ş. Güniz Küçükgüzel, who is responsible for quality, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Arzu Kader Harmancı Seren, Coordinator of the Strategy Development Commission, Asst. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Kabadayı Kuşçu, Deputy Coordinator, Aynur Şafak, Head of the Department of Strategy and Quality, and Esra Can, Assistant Strategy and Quality Specialist.

During the meetings held with our academic and administrative units and Application and Research Centers, a SWOT analysis of the University’s current situation was discussed. Participants’ views regarding the University’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and threats, were evaluated.

The meetings also addressed activities to be prioritized in the short term (one year), medium term (two to three years), and long term (four to five years). Key areas included institutional development, brand management and institutional reputation, innovation, sustainable growth, digital transformation, research and internationalization, student experience, and stakeholder collaboration.

Participants also shared assessments concerning the sustainable development of the University’s academic and administrative structure, the expansion of digitalization and artificial intelligence applications, increasing research capacity and international visibility, and strengthening student satisfaction. Proposals for developing cooperation with public institutions, the private sector, alumni, and civil society organizations were also discussed.
