A Cooperation Protocol aimed at strengthening academic and scientific collaboration between our university and TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (TÜBİTAK MAM) was signed by Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Kanca and TÜBİTAK MAM President Prof. Dr. Burcu Özsoy.

The protocol aims to foster the development of joint research and development (R&D) projects, promote the effective use of research infrastructure, enhance the exchange of knowledge and expertise, strengthen cooperation on strategic public-sector priorities, and expand sustainable partnerships within national and international research funding programs.

During the meeting, representatives of both institutions discussed ongoing and planned activities in the fields of defense and health, which are among their shared areas of expertise. They also exchanged views on opportunities to develop joint research projects and collaborative R&D initiatives in these strategic fields.

The meeting was also attended by TÜBİTAK MAM Vice President Özgen Ercan, Deputy Head of Materials and Process Technologies Dr. Ersin Üresin, and Fenerbahçe University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ş. Güniz Küçükgüzel.
