Dada and Experimental Film Screening Held as Part of FBU Cinema Days

Organized by the Faculty of Communication and the Media Center, FBU Cinema Days took place on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the Blue Hall of Block F. Themed “Early Cinema: Dada and Experimental Film,” the screening featured a selection of experimental short films by pioneering artists such as Man Ray, Marcel Duchamp, and Hans Richter. The event was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Telek and Res. Asst. Melek Ekinci. As part of the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Telek also screened her own short film ‘Tractatus’, which was met with great appreciation from the audience. FBU Cinema Days will continue in the coming months with new sessions exploring diverse themes from the world of cinema.
