As part of Career Days 2026, organized by the Fenerbahçe University Career Center and the Alumni Office Branch Directorate from May 11 to 13, 2026, students from the Faculty of Pharmacy met with leading companies in the sector and experts in their fields.
During the three-day event, valuable insights were shared on numerous critical areas, including the various disciplines of the pharmacy profession, industrial developments, R&D processes, and hospital pharmacy.
Pharmacist Şule Dilek Yağcı Tüysüz, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Pharmetic Association of Entrepreneurial Pharmacists, held an insightful discussion on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00 in Room 109 of Block F, on entrepreneurship in pharmacy, innovative approaches, and the future vision of the profession.
Pharmacist Sena Özdemir, Chair of the Pharmacy Department at Medicana Health Group Ataköy Hospital, shared valuable insights and field experiences with students on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 15:00 to 16:00 in Room 102 of Block F, regarding hospital pharmacy operations, clinical pharmacy practices, and managerial processes within the healthcare group.
Ünnügülsüm Erdoğan, Manager of Pharmaceutical Development at Abdi İbrahim AR-GE, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00 in Room 506 of Block F, discussed industrial pharmacy, the development stages of a drug from laboratory to market, and career opportunities in R&D departments.
Manager of Analytical Method Development and Validation at Atabay Kimya, Chemist Caner Arıkan, shared valuable knowledge and experience with students on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00 in Room 111 of Block F, discussing the importance of quality control, method development, and validation standards in pharmaceutical analysis from both academic and industry perspectives.
Polifarma R&D Director Dr. Levent Kandemir, API Synthesis Deputy Director Dr. Nilgün Özgür, and Process Development Deputy Director Ahmet Demirbaş met with students on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 15:00 to 16:00 in Laboratory 515 of Block F. They presented topics such as industrial production technologies, API synthesis, and process management procedures through an interactive presentation.
