Fenerbahçe University Participates in the Professions of the Future Meeting

Representing Fenerbahçe University, Dr. Ece Ozan, Head of the Department of Brand and Communications, attended the Professions of the Future Meeting, hosted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in Ankara on 16 June 2026.

The meeting commenced with opening remarks by Prof. Dr. Naci Gündoğan, Vice President of the Council of Higher Education, and Çiğdem Savaşçıoğlu, Press Advisor. Discussions focused on strategic planning for the future of higher education and a shared vision for science communication. Key topics included strengthening the societal activities of Science Communication Offices, enhancing university-industry collaboration, expanding employment-oriented education policies, and developing educational models for the professions of the future.

Participants also exchanged views on the role of higher education institutions in social and economic development, the development of academic programs aligned with the evolving needs of the labor market, and strengthening inter-university cooperation.
