The “From Waste to Toys” Workshop, organized by the Midwifery Department/Club, was held on 3 June 2026 with active student participation.

Within the workshop, creative and educational toys were designed using various waste and recyclable materials. Participants gained hands-on experience in eco-friendly production processes while increasing their awareness of sustainability and the zero-waste approach. The activities also aimed to develop manual skills, creativity, and problem-solving competencies.

It was emphasized that recycling is not only an environmental responsibility but also an approach that supports productivity and efficient use of resources. The toys designed by participants were exhibited as successful examples of how waste materials can be repurposed for different uses.

The event contributed to raising environmental awareness and promoting a culture of recycling through a productive and educational learning experience.
