The Nature Walk and Environmental Cleanup Event organized by the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department/Club was held on 4 June 2026 with high student participation. The event provided participants with the opportunity to experience the positive effects of physical activity on health while contributing to a sustainable future through environmental cleanup activities.
During the nature walk, the importance of regular physical activity as a fundamental component of healthy living was emphasized. In the environmental cleanup segment, participants collected waste found in natural areas, drawing attention to environmental pollution. Thus, the strong relationship between the protection of individual health and environmental sustainability was demonstrated in practice.
Participants were also informed about environmental awareness, the protection of natural resources, and sustainable lifestyle habits. While contributing to the enhancement of social awareness as environmentally conscious individuals, students also had the opportunity to develop teamwork and social responsibility skills.
Bringing together themes of healthy living and environmental sustainability, the event was successfully completed as a productive and awareness-raising experience that enabled participants to interact with nature.
