Prof. Dr. R. Gülay Öztürk, Dean of Fenerbahçe University’s Faculty of Communication, was the only academic from Türkiye to serve on the jury of the Effie Awards 2026, one of the world’s leading competitions recognizing excellence in marketing and advertising.
Over a period of approximately two months, the 25-member jury evaluated nearly 500 campaigns. Campaigns selected through the evaluation process were awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze Effies. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on September 3, 2026, when the awards will be presented to the winners.
