The 21st Century International Migration Conference IX was held on October 13-14, 2025, at the Yeditepe University campus, in collaboration with Yeditepe University and Galatasaray University. The conference addressed the phenomenon of international migration within its historical context through an interdisciplinary approach, evaluating the political, economic, legal, and social dimensions of migration in a comprehensive manner.

The event provided an important platform that brought together academics from different disciplines and countries, as well as experts working in public institutions and civil society organizations. It encouraged the sharing of research findings, theoretical discussions, and field experiences.

Within this framework, Research Fellow Dr. Güney Aydın from the Department of Economics and Finance at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences participated in the conference with his paper titled “The Educational Level of Refugees in Turkey in the Context of Kinetic Models and the Syrian Barometer”.
