Hosted by Fenerbahçe University on May 8-9, 2026, the 3rd Congress on Industrial and Organizational Psychology concluded under the main theme “New Trends in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.” The conference, which began with an opening speech by Prof. Dr. Şahamet Bülbül, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, brought together distinguished representatives from academia and the business world.
In this prestigious event, where Prof. Dr. Sevinç Serpil Aytaç served as conference chair, Asst. Prof. Dr. Merve Mamacı as co-chair, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Gökçe Özkılıçcı as conference secretary, in addition to the insightful presentations by Prof. Dr. Canan Sümer, a faculty member at Özyeğin University, and Prof. Dr. Arzu Wasti, a faculty member at Sabancı University, Cenk Akıncılar, Deputy General Manager of Human Resources at QNB Türkiye, also shared his sector-specific knowledge and experience.
With a total of 287 participants, the conference featured seven panel sessions discussing critical topics such as artificial intelligence, workplace inclusion, and the stress of remote work. The 73 oral presentations and 13 poster presentations presented as part of the program also highlighted innovative approaches shedding light on the future of the field.
