The Innovation and Technology Application and Research Center Participated in the EU Funding Opportunities Information and Networking Event

Asst. Prof. Dr. Derya Dilek Kançağı, Director of the Innovation and Technology Application and Research Center at Fenerbahçe University, and Dilek Adalı, Project Office Coordinator, participated in the EU Funding Opportunities Information and Networking Event organized under the coordination of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of Foreign Relations.

At the event, held on December 24, 2025, at the Yusuf Ziya Erdem Conference Hall of the İSKİ General Directorate, participants were informed about Turkey-EU financial cooperation mechanisms, the Horizon Europe Programme, and calls for proposals targeting municipalities, universities, and NGOs. In addition, EIT and EIT Urban Mobility funding opportunities, as well as experiences in utilizing EU funds in local administrations, universities, and NGOs, were discussed.

The event aimed to provide participants with opportunities for cooperation and networking by sharing ways to make more effective use of EU funds. As Fenerbahçe University, we will continue to participate in such events that seek to enhance the effective use of international funds and strengthen cooperation in the fields of innovation and research.
