Academics and students from the Physiotherapy and Pharmacy Services Programs visited Tebessüm Kahvesi, where individuals with Down syndrome are employed, on 09.06.2026 as part of a social awareness activity.
During the event, students had the opportunity to closely observe the active roles of individuals with Down syndrome in working life and their participation in social life. Throughout the visit, our academics and students spent enjoyable time interacting with the staff of Tebessüm Kahvesi.
This activity, which contributed to strengthening social awareness, enabled students to gain greater understanding of the visibility and employment inclusion of individuals with special needs in society.
