The Waste Awareness Stand organized by the Nursing Department/Club was held on 4 June 2026 with the active participation of students and academic staff. The event aimed to increase environmental awareness, promote sustainable living habits, and disseminate zero-waste consciousness.
At the stand, participants were provided with informative content on waste management and recycling processes. In order to draw attention to environmentally friendly practices, sustainable products such as seed pens and paper soap were introduced. In addition, through interactive games, participants experienced an engaging and participatory learning process regarding proper waste separation and recycling procedures.
Throughout the event, the strong relationship between environmental health and human health was emphasized, and participants were informed about eco-friendly behaviors that can be adopted in daily life. Students gained awareness of the importance of waste reduction and the conscious use of resources for a sustainable future.
The Waste Awareness Stand, which contributed to the development of societal environmental awareness, was successfully completed with active engagement and strong interest from participants.
