Dear Students, 
 
Considering the Law on the Prevention and Control of the Harmful Effects of Tobacco Products, published in the Official Gazette dated 26.11.1996, No. 22829, and amended with various additions to date, as well as the Circular No. 86696344/01/06 on Tobacco Control Practices 2015/6, issued by the Turkish Public Health Institution under the Ministry of Health, and in accordance with the decision of the Fenerbahçe University Senate dated 25.09.2025, No. 2025/150-2, all indoor areas of F Block and B Block at our University, as well as the areas in front of these buildings, have been designated as NO SMOKING AREAS.
 
It has been unanimously decided to implement the Smoke-Free Campus Policy, prohibiting the use of cigarettes, other tobacco products, and electronic cigarettes in these areas, with their use permitted only in designated areas. Pursuant to Article 54/1-a (6) of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 (Using cigarettes, other tobacco products, and electronic cigarettes outside areas on campus designated by the university senate), individuals who fail to comply with this decision will be subject to a reprimand in accordance with the YÖK Student Discipline Regulations.
