MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (NON-THESIS)

In the globalizing world, businesses need versatile trained manpower and managerial candidates due to the developing production structure, rapid technological developments, opening up of countries to international competition, and the need to use resources effectively and efficiently.

The Non-Thesis Master's program in Business Administration aims to train professionals who are open to developments and innovations and who can adapt to the new situations, as well as educating people who have the knowledge and equipment to meet the well-trained manpower needs of businesses at different levels and sectors.

The educational aims of the program; by providing specialization through courses to be offered in all areas of the business, assertive in national and international business environments, preferred in management levels, able to interpret the business as a whole, having a broad perspective and high analysis power, contributing to the development of business processes, taking an active role in the team, leadership be able to bring effective and practical solutions to problems, to use time and all resources efficiently and effectively, to observe and analyze social dynamics, to observe ethical values and to incorporate them into decision-making processes; to raise graduates with social and professional responsibility awareness.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a four-year undergraduate program offered by a university in Türkiye or by a foreign university recognized as equivalent by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

Turkish citizens who have completed their undergraduate studies abroad are required to obtain a certificate of equivalence from YÖK for the recognition of the institution from which they graduated. This certificate must be submitted during the university registration process.

 

Admission Requirements for International Students

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a four-year undergraduate program offered by universities in Türkiye or by foreign universities recognized through an equivalence or recognition certificate issued by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

International applicants to graduate programs taught in Turkish must either be graduates of a bachelor’s or graduate program taught in Turkish at a higher education institution in Türkiye or abroad, or present an official certificate demonstrating at least B2 level proficiency in Turkish, issued by the Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center of Fenerbahçe University, the Yunus Emre Institute, or another Turkish language teaching center of a university in Türkiye.

All documents must be prepared in Turkish or English. For documents issued in other languages, notarized translations in Turkish or English must also be submitted.

(For international applicants applying to master’s or doctoral programs, submission of an equivalency certificate is not mandatory except in health-related fields. Applicants may apply with a “Recognition Certificate” obtained from the YÖK. However, they are advised to initiate the equivalency process for professional practice. For graduate programs in Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, and Midwifery, the diploma equivalency certificate must be submitted at the time of application.)

The ranking of applicants is determined based on the undergraduate grade point average and the interview results, as specified in the admission requirements. In the event that principal candidates do not register, the same procedure will be applied to the reserve candidates. The total program quota is 30.
