Fenerbahçe University continues its efforts to establish cooperation, agreements, and protocols with higher education institutions and other organizations in the international arena. Within this process, the International Relations Directorate has contacted many universities from different countries, and the process for new collaborations is ongoing.
The International Relations Directorate provides support and coordination to relevant units during the preparation and execution phases of associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs to be conducted with partner universities under bilateral cooperation. Negotiations are held for the development of the university's programs such as dual degrees. Strategic planning is underway to sign more detailed agreements such as student exchange, joint projects, staff exchange agreements, joint conference protocols, and project partnership protocols, with the aim of implementing the process as soon as possible. The rules and principles for selecting students/staff who will participate in the exchange under the agreements/protocols will be determined within the limits published by the relevant institutions.
Exchange Programs (Bilateral Agreements)
Fenerbahçe University works to facilitate the participation of students and academics in international exchange programs to acquire and enhance academic and professional skills. In this context, apart from the Erasmus+ program, it develops bilateral collaborations with universities all over the world so they can experience different cultures and learning environments. Depending on the scope of the agreements, students studying at Fenerbahçe University are enabled to study at partner universities through these exchange programs. Through programs conducted via bilateral agreements, which are not part of our university's Erasmus+ program, our students can study for 1 semester or 1 academic year in Asia, America, and other partner regions.
