Asst. Prof. Dr. Rüveyda Ölmez Yalazı’s Paper Wins Award at National Public Health Congress

At the 9th International 27th National Public Health Congress, held in Antalya on December 10-13, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rüveyda Ölmez Yalazı from the Midwifery Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Fenerbahçe University won an award for her paper titled “The Views of Individuals Hesitant About Vaccination: A Qualitative Study”. The paper was awarded third place in the Infectious Diseases Paper Award category.

The study, prepared by Asst. Prof. Dr. Özden Erdem, Prof. Dr. Nazan Çalbayram, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Rüveyda Ölmez Yalazı, attracted attention for its qualitative approach, which examined in depth the reasons for vaccine hesitancy and individuals’ perceptions of immunization.
