Event on Gaming and Technology Journalism in Social Media Held

The Department of New Media and Communication at the Faculty of Communication hosted the talk “Gaming and Technology Journalism in Social Media” on January 5 in classroom B410, Block B.

Eran Küçük, owner of Save Butonu, participated as the guest speaker. The event was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Emine Sırmalı Kayacan and presented by Research Assistant Buse Erel.

The talk explored content production in gaming and technology, social media-based journalism practices, and the impact of digital platforms on news production. Drawing on his industry experience, Eran Küçük assessed the current structure of gaming and technology journalism and highlighted key considerations for producing content in digital media.

The event concluded as an academic and industry-oriented discussion, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and awareness of students in the Department of New Media and Communication regarding gaming, technology, and digital journalism.
