Faculty Members from the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Attend “Future Ready: Redefining Teaching and Learning in the Age of AI” Event

Faculty members Tuğba Baş and Hazar Altınbaş from Fenerbahçe University’s Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences attended the event titled “Future Ready: Redefining Teaching and Learning in the Age of AI”, organized by Pearson Publishing and hosted by Koç University on February 6, 2026.

The event, which brought together numerous academics and administrators from higher education institutions, featured language specialist Sara Davila in the first session, where she shared her insights and experiences on the use of Artificial Intelligence in English language learning. Subsequently, Dr. Paker Doğu Özdemir, Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CELT) at MEF University, presented their institution’s Artificial Intelligence integration process within the framework of Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model.

During the event, the importance of Artificial Intelligence literacy was emphasized, and the opportunities created by the ethical and appropriate use of technological advancements in higher education were discussed.
