Faculty members from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Can Akpolat, Ecem Gökoğlan, Ebru Didem Kuran, and Beyza Şahinözü, also participated in the “Course on Measurement and Evaluation in Health Professional Education,” organized by the Department of Nursing at Fenerbahçe University’s Faculty of Health Sciences on February 12-13, 2026.
During the two-day training program held at our university’s Block F, topics such as measurement and evaluation approaches used in health education, as well as the assessment of program outcomes and course learning objectives using valid and reliable tools, were discussed in detail.
Throughout the course, which consisted of training sessions led by experts in the field, our faculty members gained theoretical knowledge of contemporary assessment tools, such as multiple-choice exam preparation, structured oral exams, rubric development, portfolios, and workplace-based clinical evaluation methods, and had the opportunity to apply this knowledge in practice through group activities.
