Faculty of Sports Sciences Hosts Seminar on “Communication and Leadership in Education”

Fenerbahçe University Faculty of Sports Sciences held a seminar titled “Communication and Leadership in Education” on February 4, 2026, with the participation of faculty members.

The seminar was conducted by Ömer Uzun, Manager of the Sabancı University EDU Leadership Development Program. The topics covered included core communication principles, listening to understand, asking effective questions, and seeing situations from the student’s perspective. The discussion also addressed behavior regulation, going beyond intention, love, and knowledge. In addition, the importance of both receiving feedback from students and providing constructive feedback to them was discussed with examples.

At the end of the seminar, which was attended by a large number of faculty members, the trainer offered book recommendations following the question-and-answer session. He also presented faculty members with signed copies of his book, “Personalized Leadership”.
