FBÜTÖMER Students on the Valide Sultan Boat Tour

Students from the Fenerbahçe University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (FBÜTÖMER) had the opportunity to experience the unique beauty of Istanbul’s straits during the Valide Sultan boat tour held on November 18, 2025. The event brought together 85 participants, including students, the Center Director, and FBÜTÖMER academics.

The trip was organized as part of FBÜTÖMER’s orientation-themed social integration activities for new students, aiming to help them get to know one another and explore Istanbul.

During the event, students learned about Istanbul’s historical and cultural heritage while improving their Turkish-speaking skills in an enjoyable setting. Throughout the tour, significant landmarks along the Bosphorus were introduced, allowing students to view the city from a different perspective.

FBÜTÖMER will continue to organize activities that enrich students’ cultural experiences and encourage them to use Turkish in natural, real-life contexts.
