“Hand in Hand for Our Friends With Paws” Event Held

The event titled Hand in Hand for Friends With Paws, organized under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Oya Şakı Aydın, a faculty member of the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at the Faculty of Communication of Fenerbahçe University, and as part of the Social Responsibility Project course, was held on January 14 in classroom L-01, Block B.

Organized with the contribution of the SemtPati Foundation, the event featured speakers Pınar Satıoğlu, Member of the Board of Directors of the SemtPati Foundation, Ece Ünver, General Manager, and Gökçen Yücekaya, Behavior Specialist. The event addressed issues related to animal rights, social awareness, and solidarity, and shared current challenges and proposed solutions regarding the living conditions of street animals with the participants.

With the contribution of the Animal Friends Club, the speakers shared their knowledge and experience on animal behavior, adoption processes, and volunteer activities, emphasizing the importance of individual and social responsibility.

At the end of the event, certificates of appreciation were presented to the guest speakers by the event coordinator, Prof. Dr. Oya Şakı Aydın, in recognition of their contributions.
