MEDEK Accreditation Site Visit Conducted for Our University’s Health Services Vocational School Emergency Medical Services Program

Our University’s Health Services Vocational School Emergency Medical Services Program applied for accreditation through the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK) in 2025.
As part of this process, the MEDEK evaluation team conducted an on-site visit between October 30 and November 1, 2025. During the visit, the team reviewed the program’s self-evaluation report, supporting evidence, and relevant university units. The Health Services Vocational School administration held various interviews and meetings with academic and administrative staff as well as students as part of the evaluation process.

In the meeting attended by our University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Kanca, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. M. Yıldırım Üçtuğ and Prof. Dr. Ş. Güniz Küçükgüzel, and Secretary General Özer Aslıbay, the MEDEK team received detailed information about the University’s accreditation and quality assurance processes.
At the closing meeting held at the end of the site visit, the head of the evaluation team provided an overall assessment and shared feedback in the presence of our University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Kanca. The final decision regarding the program’s accreditation application will be communicated to our University via the MEDEK portal in the upcoming period.
