Melisa Durmuş, a student in the Department of New Media and Communication at Fenerbahçe University’s Faculty of Communication, was awarded first place in the “Water and Humanity” poster contest organized by the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works as part of the World Water Day events.
The General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works organized a series of events for World Water Day under the theme “Water and Humanity”. As part of the program, competitions were held in the categories of painting, essay writing, poster design, and photography to promote water conservation and raise public awareness about the importance of water.
In the poster category, where participants conveyed the value and significance of water through creative designs, Melisa Durmuş received first prize following the jury’s evaluation of her work.
