Red Crescent Blood Donation Event Held

The Red Crescent Blood Donation Event, organized by the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, was held on December 23 and 24, 2025, with the participation of students as well as academic and administrative staff. The event took place at the blood donation stand set up on campus in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Bilge Serdarer Kuzu was responsible for organizing the event, and the Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Şahamet Bülbül, also participated. Aiming to raise social awareness and highlight the vital importance of blood donation, officials from the Turkish Red Crescent provided information about the donation process and emphasized the importance of regular blood donation for public health.

Throughout the event, faculty students and university staff voluntarily donated blood, actively contributing to social responsibility activities. The event aimed to increase social awareness within the university, strengthen students' social sensitivity, and support sustainable social responsibility efforts.
