Students from Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences Visit Bloomberg Istanbul Office

Students from the Departments of Business Administration, Economics and Finance, and International Finance and Banking conducted a technical visit to the Bloomberg Istanbul (Kanyon) office on April 14, 2026.

As part of the program, students received comprehensive training on the Bloomberg Terminal, one of the most widely used professional tools in the financial sector. The seminar, delivered in English, aimed to enhance students’ readiness for international business environments.

The training covered the following topics:

• Introduction to the Bloomberg Terminal and basic usage

• Equity analysis: financial data, analyst perspectives, and research processes

• Fixed income securities: bond pricing, relative valuation, and debt markets

• Portfolio management: the Bloomberg PORT platform and its capabilities

• Technology and artificial intelligence: BQNT for quantitative analysis and the AI-powered ASKB tool

Through this visit, students strengthened their theoretical knowledge through practical application and gained valuable insights into financial data analysis, investment processes, and the use of professional financial platforms.
