The “SciFinder Database Training”, organized by our university’s Department of Library and Documentation, was held on March 11, 2026, in the conference room on the 5th floor of Block B (B513). Led by Dr. Görkem Mergen, the event began at 11:00 and attracted significant interest from faculty members and students of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

The program covered effective usage strategies for the SciFinder database, one of the world’s most comprehensive scientific information resources in the fields of pharmacy, chemistry, and related health sciences, and provided detailed information on literature searches, chemical structure and reaction searches, and methods for rapid access to scientific data. Aimed at enhancing the quality of academic research and improving students’ ability to access scientific information, the productive training session concluded with a Q&A session.
