The project titled “IEEE Turkey Presidents’ Workshop,” prepared by the IEEE Fenerbahçe University Student Branch student club, has been awarded funding under the University Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program (UNIDES) administered by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The project, developed by the IEEE Fenerbahçe University Student Branch under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Serhan Yarkan, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Fenerbahçe University, was carried out under the coordination of Ece Su Sezer.
The workshop project, organized by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Turkey Chapter, aims to bring together the presidents and board members of its student branches. It seeks to enhance information sharing among student communities, strengthen organizational coordination, and foster collaboration. The event program is planned to include presidential presentations, technical community sessions, and elections for the IEEE Turkey Section Board of Directors. Through the sessions to be held, the project aims to evaluate the activities conducted by student chapters, review current guidelines, and determine strategies for the upcoming term. Strengthening communication among student communities, sharing best practices, and more effectively promoting IEEE culture across Turkey are also among the project’s core objectives.
We congratulate all the students and our faculty advisor who contributed to this project, which has been awarded UNIDES support.
